Reason for the project
Why it needed to exist.
Translate the Baylor Kappas' original song and chapter energy into a video students would share, quote, and remember after recruitment week ended.
Goal / aim
What the film needed to make clear.
Created in 2011 for Kappa Kappa Gamma at Baylor, Kappa Rap 2 turned a chapter recruitment idea into a campus-culture artifact. The video kept resurfacing across Greek-life circles and social platforms, drew renewed press interest around its RushTok-era afterlife, and surpassed 1.4M YouTube views.
Production approach
How the story was built.
Bailey Eubanks directed a bright, personality-forward edit around the three credited creators, the Baylor Kappas, white-background performance setups, neon classroom choreography, campus walk-throughs, and fast chorus repetition that made the hook easy to retain.
Result
Where the work landed.
The piece became more than a rush-room asset: it earned a Baylor Lariat retrospective, prompted national-media interest, and remained useful enough that the creators requested the full-resolution file in 2026 for national Kappa convention playback.
